Description

We are looking for a capable Groundskeeper that can perform the following duties: Mowing Trimming Blowing Spraying Fertilizing Aerating Seeding Pruning Weeding Edging Planting Mulching Trash Pickup Empty Trashcans Sweep Stairwells Blow Off Sidewalks Leaf Removal Snow Removal Salting Raising and Lowering Flags General Equipment Maintenance Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division; at least one year of experience in a variety of landscape maintenance duties (including watering, mowing, weeding, trimming, renovating and fertilizing lawns, planting, pruning, staking, watering and maintaining landscaped areas consisting of bushes, trees, flowers and shrubs, etc.). Or equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment not listed above.

Responsibilities

The Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of the Statehouse, including tasks such as mowing, trimming, and general landscaping duties. Additional responsibilities include trash pickup, snow removal, and equipment maintenance.
