QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable experience as a Static Engineer with a focus on mechanical systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pumps, and HIU operations.
  • Possession of an NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities and a commitment to adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are looking for a dedicated Static Building Services Engineer to oversee the maintenance and performance of critical mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and associated infrastructure. This position requires a proactive individual with a meticulous approach to ensuring operational efficiency and reliability across all site systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC units, pumps, and pipework.
  • Manage and maintain heating systems, hot and cold water networks, and Heat Interface Units (HIUs).
  • Diagnose and rectify faults within plant rooms, flow control systems, and plumbing installations.
  • Perform pressure testing on pipework and mechanical assemblies to ensure compliance and integrity.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests, minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and completed tasks.
