Job Description Summary Prepares, store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, and provide cooks with needed items. Wash, peel, and cut various foods, such as fruits and vegetables, to prepare for cooking or serving. Job Description The Station Attendant assists in the food processing, handling of meal. Performs a wide range of duties that include, but are not limited to, the following station assignments: Salad, Food, Beverage, etc. General Responsibilities: Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with customers. Assures the necessary food and service equipment/utensils are secured for assigned area prior to meal service. Maintains food safety and quality. Adheres to department procedures regarding the operation of all foodservice equipment. Performs sanitation for assigned work area in accordance with departmental procedure and health department guidelines. Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training. Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner. Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures. Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments. Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
