REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in security systems, facility operations and practices
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in facility control room operations
  • Previous experience supervising a team is preferred
  • Development of tactical actions for both current and future needs
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet the physical and medical category requirements of the role
  • Willingness to work under a 24/7 rotating roster, 365 days of the year
Responsibilities

This is a newly created role and we are recruiting for a number of Station Control Leads (SCLs). In this position, you’ll be managing the competency, training, and development requirements of Station Controllers (SCs). You will lead and manage a team of 2 (SCs) during operational shifts, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all stations and distributed stabling yards by overseeing operations management, supervision, monitoring, and administration activities coordinated from our operations center in Ellerslie. You will additionally escalate issues appropriately and ensure that a high level of service delivery and emergency response readiness is always maintained.
You will ideally be an experienced team supervisor, be proactive, ready to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong interpersonal skills. In addition, your experience working in a facility control room operations will be crucial in our joint success. This role requires 24/7 coverage, and a willingness to work shift patterns including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
