Station Manager – Aviation Fuel Operations
Locations: London, Luton, Northolt, Southampton
Are you ready to take the lead in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment where no two days are the same? World Fuel is looking for a Station Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our aviation refueling services across multiple UK airports. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a vital part of the aviation industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead safe, efficient, and compliant fuel storage and into-plane refueling operations.
  • Champion Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) standards across all activities.
  • Ensure operational excellence and readiness for audits and inspections.
  • Manage staffing and vehicle resources to deliver timely, high-quality service to airline partners.
  • Act as the key liaison with customers, airport authorities, and third-party partners.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies with confidence and clarity.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational challenges and implementing solutions.
  • Supervise and support technicians, ensuring training, compliance, and performance tracking.
  • Oversee contractor inductions, work permits, and site safety protocol.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in aviation fuels, with at least 2 years managing teams and operations.
  • Proven leadership in a dynamic, safety-sensitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and QHSE practices.
  • Experience with fuel management systems and commercial operations is a plus.
  • Formal QHSE qualifications are desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A–C), including Maths and English; A-Levels or a degree are a bonus.
  • HGV Class 1 license is desirable.
