Company Description Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projects are undertaking the design, build, and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package. As Ontario Transit Group, we are now mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030. The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction. What is the project? A six-kilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River). Stations: One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station. Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations. Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown). The benefits to Ontario! Faster, more frequent, and reliable access to rapid transit with more than 227,500 people will live within a 10-minute walk of an Ontario Line station. Improve the quality of life for commuters by reducing daily travel time. Reduce crowding on the existing Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway. Up to 57,000 more jobs accessible by transit (in 45 minutes or less) for Toronto residents. Economic and community growth along the future transit line and thousands of job opportunities annually during construction. Reduction in traffic congestion, greenhouse gases, and fuel consumption by providing an alternative transportation option. Job Description The Station Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and progressing detailed work schedules for stations within the OLS project. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the project team to successfully deliver and execute the overall work schedule for the OLS project. Take ownership of developing, updating, and maintaining detailed work schedules for one or two assigned stations. Drive progress on the baseline schedule by collecting updates from construction teams and ensuring monthly reports accurately reflect project status. Prepare comprehensive contractor monthly schedule submissions, ensuring compliance with constraints, activity coding, logic sequencing, software settings, calendar usage, and required detail levels. Maintain and refine detailed baseline schedules for assigned stations to align with project objectives. Review and validate internal and contractor weekly look-ahead schedules to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Provide analytical support for schedule adjustments and conduct time impact analyses to substantiate extension requests. Contribute to the development of MEP and architectural trade schedules at the program-wide level. Actively participate in team meetings and collaborative discussions to support overall program development. Interpret contract language to identify scheduling requirements and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project or Construction Management. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset. 5+ years of experience in scheduling of construction projects. 5+ years of scheduling experience with Primavera P6. Experience in developing logical sequencing of work, contract duration and phasing. Experience in Schedule Analyzer, Microsoft Project and TILOS software. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong organization and detail oriented skills. Flexible and able to readily adapt to changing priorities. Strong ability to meet deadlines and adjust to a fast paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) in English.
