Bering’s Home Center is seeking a Stationer (Stationery Consultant) to join our Stationery & Party Goods team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, appreciates fine paper goods, and takes pride in providing thoughtful, personalized service. This is a customer-focused role for someone who enjoys meaningful interactions, thoughtful recommendations, and creating a warm, memorable shopping experience—whether a customer is picking out everyday stationery or planning something special. What You’ll Do Create a welcoming, attentive shopping experience for every customer Provide one-on-one guidance and recommendations for stationery, invitations, and party goods Listen carefully to customer needs and make informed, tasteful suggestions Assist with special orders, follow-up, and order coordination Maintain organized displays, sample books, and a polished department appearance Work independently while contributing positively to the department and store team Requirements You’re a Great Fit If You… Are friendly, personable, and genuinely enjoy helping people Have patience and love guiding customers through choices Pick up on context clues and enjoy making thoughtful suggestions Are detail-oriented and take pride in doing things the right way Are self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn—we’ll train you! Responsibilities
