JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of steam boilers, compressors, pumps, chillers and related equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Stationary Engineer License, minimum 3rd class is required
• Minimum one year experience as a Stationary engineer is preferred
• Experience in pipefitting and/or other trades an asset
• Experience in HVAC is preferred
• Preventive maintenance and computer systems (Building Automation Systems) experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize work assignments
• Effective communication and planning skills
• Must be self-motivated and a team player

  Pay: $46.25 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Iqaluit, NU: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Language:
