Summary Are you a skilled Stationary Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment? At Chenega, we support critical government facilities, and we’re looking for a dedicated professional to ensure our building systems operate at peak performance. This position is contingent upon award and not currently funded. Responsibilities What You'll Get To Do: Operate and handle mechanical equipment such as boilers and stationary engines. Monitor equipment and observe water, fuel, and air levels data. Maintain equipment as needed. Conduct all necessary tests to ensure equipment functions correctly. Diagnose, repair, and operate central chillers, compressed-air equipment, waste trim equipment, and process vacuum equipment. Test and maintain fire sprinkler systems. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications You'll Bring These Qualifications: Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program in HVAC. Must be able to interpret and apply blueprints and complicated equipment control diagrams. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Thorough working knowledge of refrigeration theory. Estimated Salary/Wage USD $47.74/Hr.
