About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Statutory Audit Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Role Summary: The Statutory Audit Analyst is responsible for supporting the preparation and review of statutory financial statements, coordinating audit engagements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with internal teams, external auditors, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting and drive process improvements. Key Responsibilities Prepares and reviews statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or local standards. Coordinatesend-to-end statutory audit processes, including planning, execution, and closure of audit issues. Liaises with external auditors, controlling teams, and service providers to ensure timely and efficient audit engagements. Assess internal controls and recommend improvements to strengthen financial reporting processes. Analyzes financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions. Monitors external audit testing status and update action plans as necessary. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in audit standards. Prepares detailed audit reports and present findings to management and stakeholders. Supports initiatives to improve financial statement preparation and implement process enhancements. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in external or statutory audit, ideally with exposure to Big 4 audit firms. Strong technical expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and statutory compliance. Experience in managing audit engagements and preparing statutory financial statements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP) is an advantage. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
