ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Full, unrestricted driver’s licence with a clean driving record; confident driving an automatic van
• Proven confidence handling dogs of varied sizes/temperaments (including anxious/reactive)
• Physically capable of lifting up to ~20 kg and working on your feet
• Comfortable working in all conditions, this position is based outside
• Strong reliability, punctuality and clear communication
• Availability for early morning and late-afternoon transport windows

ROLE PURPOSE

Deliver safe, high-quality canine care in our Stay & Play program and provide professional, reliable transport via the Dogo Taxi. This role combines supervised playgroup facilitation, enrichment and hygiene standards with scheduled morning/afternoon pick-ups and drop-offs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise playgroups using low-stress handling; monitor body language and manage safe introductions
• Run daily enrichment (e.g., LickiMats, scent/snuffle, calm stations); document activities and observations
• Maintain hygiene to SOPs: yard resets, water/bowl rotation, waste protocols, disinfecting and laundry
• Complete incident notes and daily logs accurately and on time
• Drive the Dogo Taxi (automatic van): pre-start vehicle checks, route planning, secure loading/unloading, clean-down and fuel logs
• Provide friendly, professional client interactions at pick-up/drop-off and FOH touchpoints
• Adhere to WHS, animal welfare and biosecurity standards at all times
