Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE AND WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING:

The Dementia Respite Project Coordinator, in consultation with the Respite Centre Co-Ordinator, focuses on improving access to initial respite care services for people with dementia and their carers. There is a particular focus on the quality, experience and innovative approaches to improving respite care planning for people living with dementia and their carers. This position is responsible for understanding, reporting and ensuring the successful execution of a Government funded grant.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED:-

  • Demonstrated ability to follow risk management strategies, identify and report hazards and adhere to work health and safety policies and procedures
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, compile and analyse project data and report within nominated timeframes
  • Demonstrated understanding of Dementia and the journey experienced by the person living with Dementia and their carer/s
  • Demonstrated ability to work within nominated timeframes, meet performance indicators and deliver operational outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a nominated budget to achieve operational outcomes
