What you’ll do:

Here is a sample for some of what your workdays may look like:

  • Participate in the development of safe operating procedures.
  • Complete all North River Midstream training as required.
  • Operate all plant systems for respective area in a safe, effective and efficient manner, meeting all regulatory requirements and focusing on continuous improvement of operating practices, plant reliability and production.
  • Manage day to day operations activities of assigned plant area(s) including:
  • Equipment preparation and lock out for maintenance
  • Regular plant safety equipment inspections
  • Operator equipment checks and process equipment readings
  • Issue of work permits for the area(s) of responsibility
  • Input of notifications for failed equipment within assigned area(s)
  • Troubleshoot equipment and/or process problems.
  • Follow environmental permit requirements, policies, and reporting procedures; spill control and clean up procedures.
  • Communicate of all process changes and concerns at the end of shift; completing the daily shift log.
  • Report all accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Work in a team environment within the Steam Operations department.
