JOB SUMMARY

• Produce structural steel fabrication drawings & data for CNC machines
• Liaise with workshop team
• Nest steel stock bars for the purchasing department
• Prepare site erection drawings & liaise with senior detailer throughout the course of projects.
• Produce materials list for paint, fixings & accessories etc
• Produce cutting lists and any variations to contract
• Provide information re specification on project drawings, material grades, paint systems, bolt specs etc
• Produce site load lists & delivery dockets
• Keep all drawing office documentation & filing in accordance with Companies procedures & CE accreditation
• Develop fabrication drawings in line with specified CE execution classes.
• Update supervisor daily on status of project drawings
• Produce & submit drawing in a timely and efficient manner to meet tight deadlines
• Generate 3D models to aid pricing
• Produce info for the O&M manual

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 2-3 years experience on Tekla
• Knowledge of the structural steel environment
