THE OPPORTUNITY:

AYEL Steel Inc. is seeking an experienced estimator to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural steel estimation, particularly in commercial and industrial projects such as warehouses, transit facilities, and recreational spaces. The work environment at AYEL Steel Inc. is fast-paced and dynamic. The candidate will collaborate closely with all team members and subcontractors to compile competitive construction bids for commercial and industrial projects.
Duties:
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to obtain competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project requirements.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine materials, labor, and equipment needed.
- Prepare cost analysis reports and present estimates to management for review.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Construction estimating and pricing.
- Proficiency in using estimating relevant software.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing.
- Knowledge of Project management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs.
