Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. As a Welder/Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the production process by interpreting blueprints, assembling parts, and conducting quality checks to meet industry standards. Responsibilities: - Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine project specifications. - Perform welding and fitting tasks according to project requirements using various techniques such as FCAW. - Assemble and fit metal components accurately to ensure proper alignment and structural integrity. - Conduct quality inspections on welded components to verify compliance with welding codes and specifications. - Utilize tools such as micrometers and machining equipment to achieve precise measurements. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion. - Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. - Operate equipment such as forklifts and cranes for material handling when necessary. Experience: - Proven experience in welding, fitting, and fabrication processes. - Proficiency in pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and blueprint reading. - Knowledge of machining techniques and mechanical principles. - Familiarity with using micrometers for accurate measurements. - Certification in welding or relevant field is a plus.
