We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Steel Fabricators to join our night shift team at our Falkirk site. You’ll be working on a wide range of fabrication projects in a fast-paced, well-equipped workshop.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various fabrication processes and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires proficiency in welding, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a fabrication role within a manufacturing or construction environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ASME codes & standards is advantageous.
  • Experience operating cranes and forklifts is a plus.
  • Knowledge of machining processes and soldering techniques is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly processes.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to fabricate components according to specifications.
  • Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding for metal assembly.
  • Operate fabrication machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters.
  • Measure and cut materials using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precision.
  • Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge.
  • Perform pipe threading and ductwork fabrication as required.
  • Conduct rigging operations safely while moving heavy materials or components.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
