Description

Due to company expansion, SteelUp is looking for a steel fabricator/welder to join our ever-growing business. We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible with the right candidate.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our team. Experience in various fabrication and assembly tasks preferred but the ideal candidate will be keen and enthusiastic to learn new skills. This role is essential in supporting our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate should experienced in fabrication whilst keen to improve and learn new skills.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A keen learner, able and willing to learn new skills in welder/fabrication
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools.
  • Experience in fabricating structural steel
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • A commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
  • Must have a full UK driving license

Responsibilities
  • Operate hand tools and power tools for various tasks including fabrication and assembly.
  • Perform welding tasks (full training and qualifications will be given)
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
  • Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
  • Assist in the movement of materials and equipment as necessary.
