JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Factory Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of skilled workers. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the factory and able to work under pressure.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with all levels of staff and management.

  Pay: £17.50-£18.50 per hour
  Expected hours: 39 per week

Experience:

• factory management: 5 years (preferred)

• Manage daily operations of the factory, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Lead, train, and mentor factory staff to foster a productive and positive work environment.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments such as supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare reports on production performance, inventory levels, and workforce efficiency for upper management review.
• Oversee equipment maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and enhance productivity.
