OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Steel Detailer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, particularly in the steel construction industry. This role involves creating detailed drawings and models for steel structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. The Steel Detailer will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to deliver high-quality work that meets client expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
• Experience with design tools such as SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, ArchiCAD, and Bluebeam is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of drafting techniques and construction principles.
• Ability to create detailed schematics and perform system design tasks.
• Familiarity with graphic design concepts is a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.

• Develop detailed steel fabrication drawings using CAD software.
• Create 3D models and schematics for various steel structures.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.

• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members and clients.
