REQUIREMENTS

• 1–2 years of experience as a steel polisher or metal finisher (preferably in signage or fabrication industry).
• Knowledge of polishing and buffing techniques for stainless steel and other metals.
• Familiarity with grinders, buffers, and polishing compounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve smooth, defect-free finishes.
• Physical stamina to handle workshop tools and long polishing tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Steel Polisher will be responsible for grinding, buffing, and polishing steel and metal surfaces to achieve a smooth, finished, and high-quality appearance for signage and structural products. The role demands precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Polish and finish stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum parts to required standards.
• Operate polishing machines, hand tools, and grinders for surface finishing.
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects and ensure high-quality output.
• Follow specifications and instructions from supervisors regarding finishing details.
• Work collaboratively with fabricators and welders to achieve final product requirements.
• Ensure proper handling of materials to avoid damage or scratches.
• Comply with safety procedures and wear PPE during polishing and grinding operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the polishing area.
