GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Our STEM programs cater to primary and secondary school students through a variety of year-long and short courses. These include coding in various programming languages and block-based coding platforms, electrical and electronic engineering, micro
coding, robotics, drone programs, 3D printing, and more.
The Program Manager reports to the Head of Innovation and collaborates closely with the Enterprise and Productivity teams. This role involves managing training projects, developing training content, briefing trainers, producing training materials, preparing logistics, and deploying trainers. Ensuring the training quality of associate trainers will be a key focus, and the Program Manager will also undertake training assignments.
Initially, the position will focus primarily on the development and management of the F1 in Schools Challenge program.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a training position.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Plan, strategize, and implement effective program management.
  • Develop training processes and produce evidence of success, including:
  • Program outlines and content
  • Lesson plans for trainers
  • Assessment instruments
  • Learning materials for students
  • Logistics preparation and inventory management
  • Ensure overall quality and excellence in all programs
  • Proactively seek feedback and implement changes to elevate training experiences and exceed expectations.

Innovation

  • Stay updated with the latest training and development trends.
  • Continuously research and enhance program offerings.
  • Lead the annual development of new programs with innovative training solutions.
  • Support business development efforts for new market segments.

Talent Management (Associate Trainers)

  • Forecast training demands and ensure an adequate pool of active associate trainers.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Talent Management on the acquisition, training, development, and retention of the associate trainer pool.

Training

  • Undertake quality training as specified in the contract.
  • Ensure associate trainers participate in internal and external training workshops.
  • Personally engage in training and skill development for associate trainers.

Budgeting and Administration

  • Provide and schedule associate trainers and logistical support within the given budget
  • Ensure the company’s project management system is up to date.
  • Approve trainers’ rates and schedules monthly.

Reporting and Recommendations

  • Meet with the Head of Innovation at least once per month for updates and reporting.
