Location: Multiple Clubhouse Sites – Silicon Valley Schedule: Part-time, after school, 20-25 hours per week Payrate: $27.00/hour Join Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley as an After-School Teaching Specialist – Code & Create Program! In this role, you’ll teach fun and engaging lessons in coding, robotics, and digital arts using iPads. You’ll help youth build confidence, problem-solving skills, and creativity while exploring the world of technology. If you’re passionate about teaching, curious about tech, and love working with kids, this is the role for you! What You’ll Do Teach Apple Curricula (Everyone Can Code and Everyone Can Create) lessons. Lead hands-on activities in coding, robotics, and digital arts. Manage classrooms and ensure a safe, positive learning environment. Guide youth in showcasing their projects to families and the community. Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners. Requirements What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of teaching or instructional experience (STEM/tech preferred). Strong communication and classroom management skills. Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools (iPads, MacBooks, Apple apps). Must pass background check, TB test, and hold (or obtain) CPR/First Aid certification.
