About Us: We are a growing, patient-centered medical group with multiple clinic locations across the Los Angeles area, providing high-quality, compassionate care in ENT, Allergy, Audiology, and Imaging services. We're currently seeking a reliable and certified Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This position will involve travel between our locations to provide coverage and support. Position Summary: The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work directly with providers and clinical staff to ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and accurate records. Job Summary: The CT Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT scans using advanced imaging technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The technologist operates CT scanners, prepares patients for procedures, and ensures patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This role also includes maintaining accurate patient records and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring diagnostic image quality and adherence to established protocols. Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation. Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently, adjusting technical parameters as needed for optimal image acquisition. Ensure imaging quality and accuracy while prioritizing patient safety and comfort Ensure timely and accurate interpretation of scans. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the PACS systems. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards. Adhere to radiation safety procedures and ALARA principles to protect patients, staff, and self. Travel to different clinic locations as scheduled to provide coverage or support Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report malfunctions promptly. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education to maintain certification and licensure. Requirements Qualifications and Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are reflective of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Required: ARRT Certification (Required) Current CRT and Fluoroscopy Permit (Required) 1–3 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting (preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel between locations Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (preferred) Preferred: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in CT imaging. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiographic positioning. Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems (e.g., GE, Philips, Siemens platforms). Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to: Stand for long periods at a time. Use hands and fingers in repetitive motions, daily. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs. periodically.
