Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site Schedule: Monday - Friday; 11:00am - 7:30pm CST Position Overview The Lab Support Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in supporting our day to day sterile lab operations and receive exposure to various workflows within our organization. This role is designed to provide comprehensive training and hands-on experience for individuals interested in pursuing a career in a compounding pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities Supporting the sterile lab by cleaning lab beakers and equipment, calibrating beakers, wrapping beakers, using ovens and autoclaves, labeling vials, restocking labs and other duties as assigned Ensures adequate stock levels of laboratory supplies Routinely checks for outdated or soon to expire chemicals Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Hold a MO Pharmacy technician license or willing to obtain one Ability to work efficiently in a timely manner Close attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be capable of donning and wearing all protective wear as required by procedure for each area. This includes, but not limited to: mask, gloves, lab coat, coveralls, hairnet, safety goggles and shoe covers Must be capable of lifting and moving items, including ingredients, weighing up to 50 pounds Work of Environment In your dynamic work environment: You'll be seated, engaged in conversations about life-changing compounds and innovations. Your hands will be your trusted tools, delicately handling the precision equipment that shapes our medications. Occasional standing and walking keep you agile and ready for action. You'll occasionally lift and move items, including ingredients, weighing up to 50 pounds, ensuring the seamless flow of our operations. Your workspace is indoors, where you'll work side by side with your peers, a tight-knit community working towards a common goal.
