OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sterile Processing Supervisor to lead our sterile processing department. This role is vital in ensuring that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly sterilized, maintained, and ready for use. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of sterile processing procedures, and the ability to manage inventory effectively.

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) – HSPA
• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of experience as a Sterile Processing Supervisor
• 5+ years of experience in sterile processing
• Familiarity with Microsystems, SPM, or equivalent system
• Exposure to multiple trays
• Flexibility to cover call-outs (weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift)

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) Certification
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma environment
• Associate’s Degree

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND STAFF EDUCATION

• Identify and lead initiatives to improve CPD functions.
• Assist with implementing policies and procedures that align with organizational standards and metrics.
• Support equipment repairs, replacements, returns, and loaner equipment processing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.
• Ensure proper care, handling, decontamination, and sterilization of instrumentation, equipment, and disposable supplies.
• Act as a resource to OR staff on decontamination and sterilization methodology.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of all sterilization and high-level disinfection equipment.
