Overview:
Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Sterile Processing Tech II in Owasso, OK.

GET TO KNOW YOUR TEAM:

  • Bailey Medical Center offers a full range of medical services, including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics and emergency care. The 73-bed hospital is one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Decontaminate and sterilize instruments, medical supplies, and equipment, and assemble, wrap, and sterilize trays of instruments.
  • Maintain accurate daily sterilization and testing logs.
  • Monitor biological and chemical wash solutions to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment.
  • Wrap trays, or assembles containers correctly with sterility indicators in place.
  • Verify equipment functions, and submit tickets for maintenance, repair, or replacement.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the OR Manager or Sterile Processing Lead Tech.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • BLS Certification
  • CRCST certification within one year from the date of hire

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Experience in sterile processing
