Your future role at a glance Location: Waco, TX Facility: Ascension Providence Department/Speciality: Sterile Processing Schedule: Full time | Evening shift | Monday-Friday | 2:00PM-10:30PMTraining Monday-Thursday from 10:00AM-8:30PM How you'll make an impact in this role Guarantee surgical safety by meticulously decontaminating and sterilizing instruments, ensuring every tool meets the highest standards for infection prevention. Validate clinical readiness by inspecting, assembling, and testing instrument sets to ensure surgeons have the exact, high-functioning tools they need for every procedure. Drive operational precision by using tracking systems to maintain 100% accuracy in instrument counts, preventing delays and ensuring the operating room runs smoothly. Support the surgical pipeline by proactively managing inventory and equipment levels, ensuring the right resources are always available for life-saving cases. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association preferred. Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
