Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This position is Per-Diem and may include Evening and Night shifts. You will work 8-hour shifts in this role. Schedule can be discussed during the interview. Reporting to the SPD Manager this position receives and processes incoming supplies, instrumentation and equipment, performs cleaning and sterilizing duties, prepares packs of supplies, linens, and instruments in SPD as directed. National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire; or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire. California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire. Preferred qualifications: 1 year Instrument Tech or Surgery Tech experience within an acute care facility.
