Responsibilities:
The Sterile Processing Technician, under the direction of the unit charge nurse, collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment. Maintains code carts, chest carts, urology carts. Cleans hospital wide equipment as needed.
This is a full time position eligible for benefits.
Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30PM TO 11:00 PM
Must be willing to do on- call for for urgent/emergent cases.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION

High School Diploma/GED

SPECIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/ADDITIONAL TRAINING/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Completion of formal central service technician or surgery technologist program preferred.
Previous central service, surgery, or patient care work experience preferred.
