Description
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the daily production and decontamination workflow
  • Ensure staff follow departmental protocols, quality systems, and health and safety regulations
  • Perform and oversee routine testing (bioburden, Sterrad, protein residue)
  • Support and develop staff through training on instruments, procedures, and IT systems
  • Troubleshoot issues with Track and Trace software
  • Assist with audit processes and departmental improvements
  • Communicate effectively with hospital and theatre staff to ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Provide shift cover at Clatterbridge Endoscopy when required
  • Contribute to maintaining stock levels, equipment functionality, and departmental cleanliness
