NOW HIRING: DENTAL STERILIZATION TECHNICIAN – ESSENTIAL TO PATIENT CARE!

Agilus is currently recruiting for a full time, permanent, dental sterilization technician to join our clients team in Quispamsis. The successful candidate plays a critical role in the daily operation of the clinic. This team member is responsible for the sterilization and preparation of all dental instruments and equipment, helping to maintain a safe clinical environment for both patients and staff. While the primary focus will be on sterilization and infection control, candidates with a Dental Assistant Level II certification will be considered a strong asset, as this allows additional flexibility to support the clinic when needed

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level II Dental Assistant Certification considered a strong asset
  • Previous experience in a dental or medical sterilization role is preferred
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and infection prevention procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Must have a clean criminal record

Responsibilities
  • Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize all dental instruments and equipment
  • Monitor sterilization processes and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
  • Maintain and restock sterilization area and operatory supplies as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance and documentation for sterilization equipment
  • Assist in setting up and turning over treatment rooms between patients
  • Follow all health and safety regulations in accordance with public health guidelines
  • Support the dental team with chairside assistance when required (if Level II Dental Assistant Certified)
