Lynnwood Periodontics and Implants is looking for an entry level dental assistant/sterilization technician to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a new graduate who wants to start in sterilization with an interest in future surgical assisting. We are looking for someone with a passion for dentistry and growth potential who wants to expand their skills and abilities. Great communication, patient skills and confidence is desired. Our office is dedicated to high standards of cleanliness, excellent customer service and patient care. We have 2 front office members and 2 lead assistants, a periodontist and a hygienist. We’re looking for another great team member who is eager to learn, contribute and grow. Our goal is to provide patients with the best periodontal and implant care, and go above and beyond to provide them a comfortable and personal experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current WA Dental Assisting License
• Available to work 3 days per week Tuesday-Thursday
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and organization
• Cleaning and setting up rooms
• Taking x-rays
• Chairside assisting as needed
• At ease with patients and conversation, taking medical and dental histories
• Excellent customer service and people skills
• Experience with Dentrix software and Dexis
