We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Sterilization Technician to join our team. Our practice is known for its commitment to patient safety, comfort, and the use of the latest technology to deliver exceptional dental care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in dental sterilization or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards (OSHA, CDC).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new sterilization technologies and protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • X-Ray Certification is helpful but not required

Responsibilities
  • Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and work areas following OSHA and CDC guidelines.
  • Monitor and operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Prepare dental instruments and trays for patient procedures.
  • Set up and tear down treatment rooms
  • Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and sterile clinical environment.
  • Track inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies for sterilization processes.
  • Follow proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to ensure smooth workflow in the practice.
  • Laundry, we wash scrubs on site
  • Seat patients, place bibs and topical gel
  • miscellaneous cleaning duties
