Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Clean dishes, glassware, utensils, kitchen equipment, and cooking areas.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Mop floors, clean sinks, and maintain overall sanitation standards.
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas and storage spaces.
  • Dishwashing and Kitchen Assistance:
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and hand-wash items as needed.
  • Sort and store clean dishes and utensils properly.
  • Assist kitchen staff by preparing ingredients, chopping vegetables, or setting up cooking stations.
  • Waste Management:
  • Properly dispose of kitchen waste and recycling, ensuring environmental standards are met.
  • Empty trash bins regularly and keep waste areas clean.
  • Safety and Health Compliance:
  • Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations.
  • Use protective equipment like gloves and aprons when handling food and cleaning chemicals.
  • Miscellaneous Support:
  • May help with other tasks as needed by management or kitchen staff.
