Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Clean soiled dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools as required.
  • Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and work surfaces.
  • Empty garbage and ensure disposal areas are clean and stocked with supplies.
  • Report broken or faulty equipment to the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Support catering events through equipment setup and takedown.
  • Ensure adequate stock of cleaning products and materials.
  • Adhere to Legends’ grooming standards and wear the proper uniform and nametag.
  • Comply with all Legends Hospitality health and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen operations.

Qualifications

  • Prior stewarding or kitchen support experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable working with non-toxic cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate industrial dishwashers, pot washers, and other cleaning equipment.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent bending, reaching, standing, walking, hearing, speaking, and visual focus.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
