Job Description We’re looking for a dedicated and hands-on Full Time Stewarding Supervisor to lead and run our stewarding operations. This role ensures the heart of our kitchen — the back-of-house and dishwashing areas — operate smoothly, cleanly, and safely every day. The Stewarding Supervisor is the primary leader of the stewarding function, providing structure, consistency, and clear direction to the stewarding team. About the Role You will be responsible for: Leading and supervising the stewarding team across daily operations Ensuring all kitchen, back-of-house, and dishwashing areas are cleaned and sanitised to exceptional standards Maintaining cleanliness of floors, equipment, storage rooms, rubbish/waste areas, and loading dock Overseeing correct operation of dishwashing machines and safe handling of chemicals Supporting receiving, unpacking and storing deliveries, including stock rotation Training, coaching, and developing stewards in cleaning procedures, hygiene, and safe practices Conducting daily walkthroughs to ensure HACCP, WHS, and food safety standards are met Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and ensuring efficient use of resources Working closely with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams to support smooth service and event operations Reporting maintenance issues and assisting with operational improvements About You We’re looking for someone who has: Experience in stewarding, cleaning, or kitchen operations (hotel/large venue experience preferred) Previous leadership or supervisory experience (highly regarded) Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, hygiene standards, and safe chemical handling Excellent communication and people leadership skills Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail A proactive, hands-on approach and ability to lead by example Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and early/late shifts Full working rights in Australia Benefits & Perks At Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley and IHG, you’ll enjoy: Global staff discounts at 6,000+ IHG hotels and restaurants Competitive salary and stable full-time hours Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Opportunities for professional development and internal career pathways A warm, supportive, and inclusive team culture Recognition programs to celebrate your achievements We are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
