Duties and Responsibilities As Stewarding Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following: Soak, pre-wash and wash all food & beverage operating equipment according to the standards set by the chief steward. Keep dishwashing machine in a clean and functional state, reporting any apparent defect to supervisor. Keep dishwashing ware and all cleaning equipment clean, tidy and hygienic at all times. Ensures all equipment and working area are kept clean and in good working condition. Interacts with management of other departments within areas of responsibility and develops solid working relationships with them. Assist in the control of the outlet operational budget, ensuring that all costs are strictly controlled maximizing profitability. Has a complete understanding of, and adhere to the company’s policy relating to fire, hygiene and safety. Responsible for stewarding operations, inventory management, and coordination with culinary teams to maintain uninterrupted service support. Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded. Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments. Qualifications To execute the position of Stewarding Supervisor, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following: Secondary school education or equivalent and at least 2 year experience in a similar setting. Vocational / technical certification from a recognized hospitality school is preferred. Technical skills include familiar with food and hygiene codes, and various hotel systems including operation knowledge of dish washing machine. Fluent in English.
