PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of welding practices as they pertain to structural work
• Knowledge of layout as it pertains to railings and stairwells in a commercial and industrial setting
• 7018 electrodes stick welding
• Oxygen acetylene torching
• Grinding
• Aerial lift / harness work
• Structural Framing
• 3g and 4g Welding certification
• Formal training/education/certification
• 6+ months stick welding
• Comfortable working overhead, in harnesses and on lifts
• Ability to read tape-measure and blueprints
• Knowledge of steel beams and connectors

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work 6 am - 2:30 pm or 7 am - 3:30 pm routinely and depending on job specifications
• Ability to stick weld as it pertains to scope of work
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
• Safely operate all tools and equipment
• Follow all safety protocol and PPE requirements
• Relevant welding certifications
