Site Safety Health Officer
Location: Camp Bullis, San Antonio, TX
Pay: $47.00/hour
Duration: Immediate Start – USACE Project

REQUIREMENTS

• OSHA 30 certification (required).
• EM 385-1-1 certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of USACE or Federal project safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and federal compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) to support a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) project at Camp Bullis in San Antonio, TX.
This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and supporting daily construction operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and monitor site safety programs in compliance with OSHA standards and USACE requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections, audits, and safety meetings.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Prepare safety reports and maintain compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and federal representatives regarding safety protocols.
