Description STOCK CLERK – Grocery: Day Shift ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies. Rotates merchandise as necessary according to product expiration dates. Receives and unloads truck deliveries using available equipment and according to established guidelines. Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment, (mops, brooms, floor scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.) Operates all required tools and equipment in a safe manner except when restricted due to age. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Standing and/or walking at a rapid pace for extended periods of time to perform job functions. Will be in charge of our Hispanic section within the store Will be required to keep the isles full and straightened at all times Will be trained to order the isle that are assigned and keep full Schedule will be Sunday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Saturday. These days are REQUIRED SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintains a clean and neat work area. Unloads groceries from customers shopping cart Ability to operate cashier equipment/systems Carries or carts groceries to customer’s car. Performs all essential job functions at an acceptable level of speed and accuracy. Performs all essential job functions with limited supervision. Ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds. Other duties as assigned. JOB STANDARDS / REQUIREMENTS: Follows dress code. Follows written and oral instructions. Follows established safety policies and procedures. Works well with others. Speaks English fluently. Eyesight corrected to 20/20. Hearing corrected to normal range. Responsibilities
