Description STOCK CLERK – Grocery Part-time: Other schedules may be required based on store needs. Dayshift 8am-5pm Nightshift 3pm-10:30pm ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies. Block the shelf to make sure they look good for the customer Sweep and mop as needed Rotates merchandise as necessary according to product expiration dates. Receives and unloads truck deliveries using available equipment and according to established guidelines. Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment, (mops, brooms, floor scrubbing and buffing machines, etc.) Operates all required tools and equipment in a safe manner except when restricted due to age. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Standing and/or walking at a rapid pace for extended periods of time to perform job functions. SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintains a clean and neat work area. Unloads groceries from customers shopping cart Ability to operate cashier equipment/systems Carries or carts groceries to customer’s car. Properly bags or packages customers purchases using correct size and quantity of bags. Performs all essential job functions at an acceptable level of speed and accuracy. Performs all essential job functions with limited supervision. Ability to lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds. Other duties as assigned. JOB STANDARDS / REQUIREMENTS: Follows dress code. Responsibilities

Responsible for stocking, straightening, and rotating grocery merchandise while maintaining store cleanliness. Duties include unloading truck deliveries and assisting customers with bagging and carrying purchases to their vehicles.
