Description
SAIC is seeking a Stock Clerk to join our team in Hanahan, SC. This position is 100%25 on site. The Stock Clerk will: Exercise care in the use of company equipment and tools. Observe all safety programs and practices. Assemble orders and kits of materials, parts, and assemblies for transfer to production and shipping. Record and document material receipts, transfers, and inventory accounting. Examine material(s) to verify damage and report discrepancies. Compute amount of material(s) needed for specific job orders. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma/GED equivalent. Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Tools (Word and Excel in particular). Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. Desirable: Previous warehouse experience.
Responsibilities
The Stock Clerk will assemble orders and kits of materials for production and shipping, while also recording and documenting material receipts and inventory. They will examine materials for damage and compute the amount needed for specific job orders.
