Overview ***This position is physically located in the Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP*** Work directly under the TMP Supervisor, perform day to day operations and all assigned task in support of the warehouse operations. A functional, comprehensive working knowledge of the US Army Supply System. Individual must be familiar and have the ability to identify repair parts, including a working knowledge of sets, kits, and outfits (SKOs). A working knowledge of GCSS-Army and MAXIMO is desired. Knowledge of Army Supply Catalogs is desired. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. 1. Performs many combinations of tasks that includes compiling records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment: Compiles data from sources, such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records. 2. Keeps back order file in established sequence and releases back orders for issue or shipment as stock becomes available. 3. Compiles stock control records and information, such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. 4. Prepares requisitions, orders, or other documents for purchasing or requisitioning new or additional stock items. 5. Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists, and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders. 6. Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock. 7. Maybe performing other administrative tasks as determined by the Emergency Vehicle Technician or TMP Supervisor. 8. Ability to assist day to day operations of GCSS-Army procedures and/or MAXIMO database. 9. Provide reports and statistical data utilizing MAXIMO as requested. 10. Performs additional duties as required. Qualifications Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. High school diploma or equivalent work experience in related field. Ability to obtain an on-post license and Host Nation Driver’s license as required. Ability to obtain and maintain a SMART Card. Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in inventory or property control or storage operations desired or comparable civilian experience. High school diploma or equivalent work experience in related field. Ability to obtain on-post license and/or Host Nation driver’s license. Ability to obtain Smart Card. Incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of English comprehension, including speaking, understanding, reading, writing and typing. Must be detailed oriented and organized. Skills: Capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, written and verbal. Must have standard computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook applications is required. Must have knowledge in classifying and specifying supplies. Must be able to perform daily task with accuracy, speed, and precision. Must be able to communicate fluently in English to communicate and interact with the customers, vendors, and managers on a daily basis. Versatile in data management, compilation and conversion. Strong interpersonal skills are required. Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment is required. Ability to prioritize responsibilities in order to handle a demanding workload is required. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required. Advanced ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form, is required. High-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately is required Working Environment: Work is generally conducted in a warehouse environment. However, duties also involve going into an out-of-doors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions. Working in a military environment brings the potential for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas, but not on a daily basis. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules. The Stock Clerk performs various tasks related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials and supplies. They also maintain inventory records and assist with the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
