SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience in retail stock operations, inventory management, or logistics.
  • Prior experience in shipping and handling international shipments, inventory management, performing cycle counts, and working with inventory management systems is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in retail or stock-focused roles, with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying schedules,

including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

  • Exceptional multitasking, time management, and organizational skills, with a

strong ability to work proactively and maintain high standards under pressure.

  • Strong communicator with a natural ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and collaborate effectively with various team members and departments.
  • Driven and passionate about maintaining BOH standards, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting team success.

Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking a meticulous and solution-oriented Stock Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with expertise in cycle counts,
inventory management, shipping and receiving, stock transfers, consignments, and store operations. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and driven individual
who is passionate about maintaining high standards and ensuring operational efficiency. The Supervisor will manage inventory workflows and ensure the seamless execution of shipping and receiving processes. They will also collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth inventory flow and contribute to the overall success of the store.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Maintain clear communication with the team to ensure processes are well-understood and followed.
  • Support the Store Manager with store maintenance needs and collaborate with the Visual Merchandising (VM) Associate on collection preparations, stock organization, and product display.

Inventory Management:

  • Schedule and perform weekly cycle counts, as well as plan and execute Mid-Year and End of Year inventory checks, to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Manage discrepancies and negatives daily to maintain accurate inventory levels.

Ensure accurate tracking of 3rd party vendor inventory.

  • Oversee inventory accuracy across all sales channels, including in-store, third-party vendors, and consignments.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Shipping & Logistics:

  • Organize and prepare RTV (Return to Vendor) orders, ensuring timely processing of all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Process international shipments, transfers, and customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Order packaging, stationery, and store supplies to ensure stock levels are consistently met.

Problem Solving & Customer Service:

  • Proactively identify and address issues related to inventory, shipments, or store maintenance.
  • Record, track, and facilitate after-sales customer repairs and store damages, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stock-related challenges, proactively resolving issues and identifying operational gaps to recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Efficiently manage multiple priorities while organizing daily responsibilities to meet deadlines and maintain seamless store operations.

Organization & Store Operations:

  • Maintain an organized Back of House in line with company standards and assist in the timely unpacking and preparation of new stock for display, ensuring products are properly hung and steamed.
  • Ensure the BOH is consistently organized, compliant with company standards, and optimized for efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Liaise with corporate retail operations as necessary.
  • Support the Store Manager in driving operational initiatives and ensuring company policies are consistently adhered to.
