JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Stock Controller to join our Global Operations department based in Dunfermline on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract.
You will be working within a lean customer focussed warehouse and logistics environment that is responsible for ensuring that all the companies material movement demands are met. As a Modern Apprentice, a comprehensive training program will be delivered in partnership with Fife College and all based in the workplace, so that on completion you will be a fully qualified stock controller.

WHAT SKILLS WILL I LEARN?

  • Goods In Processing: GRN, RMA & RTV receipts, stock labelling, locating and material transfers.
  • Sales order Processing: Order picking, processing, and Logistics fulfilment.
  • Production Kitting: Manufacturing order generation / processing, lineside and kit stock replenishment, Finished product processing.
  • Cycle Counting: Perpetual cycle counting.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System Processing: Ensuring all stock movements are transacted efficiently and accurately.
  • Housekeeping: Conform to working within a “6’s” environment.
  • Be a contributor to the Department’s Continuous Improvement programme.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS OR QUALITES ARE REQUIRED

  • Working experience of using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook).
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly numerate, must hold a Nat 5 or equivalent in English and Math’s.
  • A competent self-starter with a flexible attitude.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
