We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our warehouse and yard operations team. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, generating and controlling paper-based pick and replenishment sheets, and supporting quality checks to ensure the smooth flow of materials into production.

Key Responsibilities:

  •      Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stocktakes.
  •      Generate and manage paper-based pick and replenishment sheets.
  •      Investigate stock discrepancies, damages, and variances.
  •      Perform basic quality inspections of incoming goods.
  •      File and maintain all inventory documentation for traceability and audits.
  •      Collaborate with warehouse, yard, production, and purchasing teams to coordinate stock movement.
  •      Promote safe working practices and maintain organized, hazard-free storage areas.

What We’re Looking For:

  •      Experience in stock control or warehouse inventory roles.
  •      Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  •      Comfortable working with paper-based systems and proficiency with Excel/stock tracking tools.
  •      Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams.
  •      Ability to work across 2 sites (Wollaston/Olney)
  •      Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
  •      Ability to drive MHE, or willingness to undertake training
