CONTRACT: TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT
Our client is seeking a Stock Coordinator on a temporary to perm arrangement. As a Stock Coordinator, you will be responsible for all the Goods in/out and control the stock physically placing each item in the relevant place. You will also need to be able to input all goods in/out on the computer system, which is mainly in Microsoft Excel and the internal Stock software.
The stock is parts for electronics so we would like you to have some experience with electrical components, but this is not essential.
You may need to travel to other sites to deliver stock, which means having a driving licence to use the company vehicle. An FLT Licence would also be useful but not essential.
The biggest attribute is being a team player and a can-do positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities of the Stock Coordinator:
· Ensure all items delivered are booked in correctly, recorded and distributed accurately and in a timely manner
· Organise automation parts using BOM
· Load and unload goods in/out across 2 sites
· Weekly stock checks and stock rotation and reorder / replenish accordingly
· Uphold a high standard of cleanliness of all the work areas
· Point of contact for all incoming and outgoing deliveries at HQ
· Maintain and record all H&S Records
· Adhere and promote all aspects of safety as detailed in the Company Staff Handbook and Policies and Procedures.
· Expected to carry out any other reasonable duties
Personal Skills:
· Be confident but not arrogant
· Have good communication skills, writing and verbal
· Be able to work in an organised methodical manner
· Work well in a team or alone
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Minimum Entry Qualification
· 1 - 3 years practical work experience as a Stock Coordinator or similar
· C or above Maths/English or equivalent
· Good experience of computer stock systems including excel
· Full Driving licence.
