JOB DESCRIPTION: STOCK/SALES ASSOCIATE

Bergo Designs is a unique lifestyle store located in the Historic Distillery District of Toronto. We offer distinctive home decor, hard-to-find design items from around the globe, unique watches, stunning contemporary jewelry, and a large children’s section, creating an extraordinary gallery of Industrial Design.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred.
• Physically fit and comfortable with lifting heavy items.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Familiarity with inventory systems is an asset.

  Hours: Approx. 20 per week (4–8 hour shifts)

Work Location: In perso

• Receive, organize, and categorize incoming shipments of products and accessories.
• Safely lift and move boxes weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing stockroom and sales floor.
• Assist customers with product knowledge, purchases, and overall store experience.
• Support sales through restocking, merchandising, and ensuring displays are fully stocked.
• Greet customers at the doors during rotational shifts, which requires standing in one area for a prolonged period.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain smooth store operations.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
