Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

Our multi-user, retail and consumer operation based in Kettering, Northamptonshire has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Stock Supervisor where you will oversee, lead and manage the inventory team. You will ensure accurate and efficient stock control, proper storage and seamless inventory operations minimising stock excess and reducing stock losses.
This amazing opportunity will see you working Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm and offers a salary of up to £30,000 per annum dependant on experience.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the Stock & Systems Manager, you will lead a team of stock clerks where you create and embed a culture of health and safety, employee engagement, development, and high performance. You will maintain accurate inventory records with you and your team regularly conducting cycle counts and audits to ensure stock level accuracy. You will monitor and ensure an adequate supply without overstocking, utilising control software, manual records and investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records, ensuring root causes of stock storages or overages are identified and corrected.
You will provide management control through effective planning, organization, and communication to ensure all KPI targets and customer requirements are fulfilled to the highest possible standards are achieved. You will also drive performance improvements, reviewing processes and reporting mechanisms and identify, evaluate, and implement continuous improvement projects in collaboration with internal teams ensuring all activities remain within quality and budgetary targets.
